September Air Plant – Tillandsia Velutina
Likes to be in rooms that are between 50-95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Enjoys indirect sunlight, and tolerates small amounts of direct sunlight as well.
They like to be misted 1-3 times a week and a weekly soak about 15 minutes. Allow all water trapped between leaves to drain by drying up side down to avoid rot.
The Velutina is a close relative of Brachycaulos, but unlike its cousin, the Velutina has soft sage colored leaves that will mature into a brown, pink or red fade as it ages!
