Originating from South America and Trinidad the striking stricta is a hearty crisp species of air plant that can tolerate higher heat and light than most other species. They have long spiny leaves that curl outwards as they mature and is the parent of many interesting hybrid species. To keep your stricta striking keep in indirect light, keep warm, and to water coat the leaves 2 – 3 times a week or soak about once a week. Apply a liquid air plant fertilizer to the leaves about once a month. Show off your stricta in a terrarium or sitting in a cute ceramic pot with some pebbles in the bottom!
