Tillandsia caput medusae
With crazy tendrils like these no wonder they call this air plant the octopus plant or medusa’s head. This bad boy is native to Central America and Mexico and is heartier than many of this family making them a great first air plant for the budding enthusiast or a delightfully low maintenance edition to a growing collection. Like most air plants your medusae likes to be sprayed one to two times a week depending on the humidity of your home and having some air plant fertilizer spray applied once a month. Keep in indirect light.
