Christmas Cactus Kokedama
Deck the halls with these fun and festive kokedama Christmas cacti! Kokedama (translating to “moss ball”) are a Japanese style planter traditionally hung from the rafters in Japanese homes by strings or placed on a plate or bowl for a tabletop display. These adorable cacti have a fully intact root ball and will remain small and living happily inside the sphere for years with proper care! Simply soak the ball whenever the root ball becomes dry (will feel light, usually every 1 – 3 weeks depending on your environment) for about 10 – 20 minutes. For long term care add some all purpose fertilizer to the water about once a month and house in a cool location with indirect light, the outermost layer of twine may be re-wrapped occasionally to keep it looking fresh! The sphere can also be planted directly into soil after the holiday season and grow into a full size Christmas cactus if you wish! Each kokedama is hand wrapped in store!
